SA260FM-TGB (Transparent Grey Burst) SA-modellen er som en mellomting mellom en S-modell og en normalt tykk gitar med buet topp (arched topp). En rundere og mykere skåret gitar enn den kantete RG-modellen. Med tykkere og rundere (mer C-formede) halser, to-punkts ikke-låsbar stol og True-duo humbucker i stolen med single-coil mikrofoner neck og middle, er det en gitar som snakker et mer tradisjonelt språk enn mye annet i Ibanez sitt sortiment. Standard serien är Ibanez ?vanliga? modeller, instrument som är lite billigare utan att man tummat för mycket på kvalitén jämfört med värstingmodellerna.
