EP1022. Kondensator .022mF. Generellt (nästan alltid) är det samma pottar som används för volym och ton och det är hur man kopplar dem som avgör vad den får för funktion. För tonkontrollen använder man en kondensator där olika värden påverkar hur tonkontrollen jobbar. Standardvärde är .047mF (kan också kallas 47n eller 473) men här kan man vinna mycket genom att prova olika värden. Högre värde gör att tonkontrollen skär mer topp, ljudet blir mörkare/dovare när den rullas av, lägre värden gör motsatsen (självklart). För highpass filter rekommenderar vi en 560pF kondensator i parallell med ett 300kOhm motstånd, det är ett värde som ger ett bra resultat på de flesta mickar. Värden kan det vara värt att experimentera med olika värden för att få det optimalt för en egen gitarr och smak. De kan även användas som en switch att koppla mellan, till exempel, stall och hals mick.
